Invertebrate Surveys conducted on Welsh Parklands
THIS HAS NOW BE MERGED INTO VARIOUS SURVEYS WITHIN RECORDER 6 UNDER THE WELSH INVERTEBRATE DATABASE (WID). THIS DATASET WAS ARCHIVED BECAUSE THE DATA WAS NOT EASILY IDENTIFIABLE IN RECORDER 6. THIS DATASET SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH THE WELSH PEATLAND INVERTEBRATE SURVEYS (WPIS). This is a biogeographical dataset for Welsh saproxylic arthropods (invertebrates). Data generated during the Nature Conservancy Council. Welsh Parkland Invertebrate Survey (WPIS) of 130 wetland sites in Wales plus Wem Moss in Shropshire. This datasets consists of all records from sites with a suffix (WPIS), or with recorder as Welsh Peatland Invertebrate Survey. The purpose of this data capture was to understand the distribution of species in Wales in order to inform conservation decisions. Survey is comprised of two parts: North Wales and South Wales.
