There is a scoring mechanism (0, 1, 2, 3. 0 = neutral sensitivity, 3 = highest sensitivity) for features and supporting habitats for each of the 49 coastal cells in four separate categories: Ramsar, Special Area of Conservation (SAC), Special Protection Area (SPA) and Site of Special Scientific Importance (SSSI). In addition there are tabs to include information on Areas of Oustanding Natural Beauty (AONB), National Nature Reserves (NNR), Marine Nature Reserves (MNR), and Biodiversity Action Plans (BAP) and comments for each cell. There is a summary mechanism which calculates the maximum sensitivity for any cell for all four scored categories (must be maximum, not average).
