There is an accompanying User Guide to assist in the use of these datasets. A full list of datasets used and data limitations can be found in the project technical report. What the map shows: This map shows the number of constraints to bog restoration for natural flood management. Constraints to hard engineering solutions are not considered. The individual constraints considered for bog restoration were: - Areas unlikely to remain suitable for supporting bog habitats under a climate change scenario. - Areas falling outside of the catchment zones 'Gentle headwaters' or 'Headwaters floodplains'. In these areas bog restoration is unlikely to have noticeable NFM effects This dataset was produced for Environment Systems Ltd under contract to NRW.
