Green Flag Awards Boundary data
The boundaries of all sites that held a Green Flag or Green Flag Community Award in the 2019-2020 Award Year.

All files include the same sets of table attributes in GIS, and those are: •Naming [green space / site name] •Origin [general dataset origin, if any, or general basis for any site digitisation] •Precision [general levels of how well a site is mapped – anything below “Exact” means the site polygon has either been altered, combined, clipped, or in some other way modified from any listed “official/original” dataset [e.g. OS Open Greenspace] •NOTES [general explanation if needed] Final notes: 1: Remaining GIS topology errors with OS Mastermap are not able to be resolved, as the contractor only had permission to view data, not otherwise directly edit data or “snap” new data to existing polygons. 2: 97% of all Green Flag sites have been mapped to the defined levels of precision. The remaining 3% of Green Flag sites have best guess boundaries e.g. because they cover a “town centre” or other area with no natural boundary.
