Data is collected using a MiniMet Automatic Weather Station, Serial Number 47076 provided by Sky Instruments Ltd. The DataHog2 datalogger is logging wind speed and wind direction every minute and the GPRS modem is automatically sending the data to the server by ftp. Power is provided by a 30 watt solar panel and incorporated solar panel regulator. Information Warning: During October 2018, the wind sensor was masked for filming purposes. The data in this period is therefore advised to be treated with caution. There are also data gaps between 1/8/2020 and 16/11/2021; and between 14/12/2021 and 26/12/2021.
