This was mapped against Mastermap 2009 mostly but amendments will be ongoing and will be mapped against the latest version of Mastermap that NRW holds at the time of digitisation. This data will be used by Unitary Authorities and Planning Areas, and NRW staff to help make informed decisions on how best to change/create urban and rural areas, incorporating greenspaces for the health and wellbeing of the community they are surrounded by. This will also impact on the Welsh Index of Multiple Depravation and the Good for People toolkit. Warning: The Column titled 'Status' is to be used when running any form of statistics as this is the column that says whether the polygon has been checked by the Local Authority, 'Draft' means it has not been checked and should be ignored for any statistical analysis, 'No Ver LA' Is to signify that the Local Authorities don't know anything about that parcel of land and should be used cautiously in any statistical analysis. 'Completed' are the polygons the Local Authorities have checked and are happy that the information is correct to the best of their knowledge.
