Internal Drainage Districts (IDD) Watercourses
All former Internal Drainage Board(IDB)/Internal Drainage District(IDD) maintained watercourses also known as Reens, Ditches, Brooks and Drains are mapped in linear form in this vector dataset. Data collected and mapped for the purpose of water level management, flood defence maintenance and planning operations/work programming. Identifies watercourses managed for water voles, priority/critical watercourses which must be maintained and watercourses designated as \urban\". Urban watercourses are those in urban areas which are given priority for Health & Safety and Flood Risk reasons."
