If data is displayed in map form to others it should be shown with a maximum zoom scale of 1:10,000 and that base mapping of 1:25,000 is used to give context. Risk of Flooding from Rivers and Seas (RoFRS) results are indicative of the scale and distribution of the likelihood of flooding and therefore we advise that viewing at more detailed scales may not be appropriate. - Because of the way they have been produced and the fact that they are indicative, the maps are not appropriate to act as the sole evidence for any specific planning or regulatory decision or assessment of risk in relation to flooding at any scale without further supporting studies or evidence. - This data is not raw, factual or measured.
