Current and potential distribution, and breeding success of the otter were investigated, as well as identifying and mapping potential and actual breeding habitat and feeding ponds and ditches. A major focus of this project is an assessment of the current and potential breeding success of the otter within the catchment, so that conservation objectives can be set, and future trends can be identified.
