The plots serve the purpose of assessing whether the sampled vegetation currently meets condition targets in relation to a selected set of performance criteria, and also will serve to assist in long-term monitoring of changes in the habitat condition. At each sample point the broad habitat type was established and the condition of the surrounding habitat was assessed (within a 1m or 5m radius) against a series of attributes and attribute targets. Each location was captured using a GPS. This data was converted to MapInfo GIS.
