A total of 18 sites were surveyed, 16 of which corresponded to a list of 20 sites drawn up by CCW prior to survey. Bad weather resulted in the abandonment of offshore survey so the other two sites surveyed were in the shelter of Porth Dinllaen bay. For each site, descriptions of habitats and communities encountered were obtained by divers using standard MNCR techniques. A variety of biotope and species photographs were taken and a video was taken at each site. Confidence in this dataset is high.
