Photographic collection from Yr Wyddfa Environmental Change Network (ECN) site
A collection of slides, scans and digital photographs taken at the Environmental Change Network sites on Snowdon. The purpose of this data capture was to keep a photographic record of the site in order to study changes over time.

Photographs have been taken from 1995 onwards. Every week two panoramas are taken of the ECN site, one for looking at the number of sheep and the other to note the weather conditions and any obvious changes in vegetation. Photographs are also taken of any survey plots including the arctic alpine plots. When monitoring began at the site photographs were taken on film and kept as slides, most of which have now been scanned. Now all photographs are taken using digital cameras.
