The purpose of this data capture was to provide data on the extent and distribution of vegetation communities in the Welsh uplands for planning, notification and management purposes. Phase 1 level vegetation surveys of around 48 upland sites in Wales. Each site has a dataset which includes a published report, quadrat data tables, maps (most paper maps have been digitised and are available as MapInfo tables and ESRI Feature Classes) and site descriptions.
