Following the oil spill from the Sea Empress, oil was dispersed along and deposited on the Castlemartin coast and concerns were raised about the contamination of Castlemartin bat cave. This dataset contains the results of surveys carried out to check for the presence of oil and bats at the cave. The purpose of this data capture was to determine whether oil pollution from the Sea Empress was adversely affecting the bats.
