Welsh Government: Shellfish Water Protected Areas (3rd Party Data)

The Water Framework Directive requires the specification of protected areas for the protection of economically significant species. This dataset shows the location of coastal and brackish waters that have been designated as Shellfish Waters under the EC Shellfish Waters Directive (2006/113/EEC). This dataset is wholly owned by Welsh Government, but has been made available to Natural Resources Wales (NRW) who are required to make it open on behalf of Welsh Government.
