Data was supplied to Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) to provide contextual information about seal habitats on the Skerries. In 2011 the RSPB conducted an intertidal survey of the Skerries, off North Anglesey to create an inventory of species found there. 5 sites were surveyed to represent different intertidal environments with respect to exposure to wave action, silt and sediment level, tidal current exposure and shoreline substrata. At each location the shore was surveyed at high, mid and low tide levels. This provided an inventory of algal species and invertebrate species at the 5 locations recording presence/absence. RSPB have given Natural Resources Wales (NRW) permission to include this data with its own data holdings in Marine Recorder.
