The database was also collated to identify assests associated with the properties that may be at risk and to identify actions that may be taken to prevent flood damage to properties or their assets. The Welsh subset of data contains information about approximately 40 sites for the former Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) West Region and 30 for CCW North Region. Data was collected between August 2006 and May 2008 and will be updated as and when necessary. A high level of confidence in the source data provided. Ground-truthing of properties was carried out by the National Trust.
